Course Description
This course is a continued exploration of the medium of photography, which begins where Basic Photography ends, in the digital darkroom. Adobe Photoshop skills are covered, with an emphasis on its use as a creative tool. The history of photography is also covered, including influential photographers, important events that helped to shape photography into what it is today, and the impact of digital technology on contemporary photographic practice.

After successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

-- Correctly use digital camera, scanner & printer (2)
-- Use Adobe Photoshop to adjust and improve photographs (2)

-- Utilize good design principles in their work (2)
